New railway footbridge at Lostwithiel on hold because of embarrassing design flaw. (Article in Cornwall Live)
There has been a campaign for at least 5 years to get a footbridge installed so Lostwithiel is not cut in half every time a train comes through, but now Network Rail has said it's on hold because of a footbridge design flaw.

Health and care workers are being let down by a Conservative Government which is making their jobs impossible.
Figures published last week by NHS England showed that Derriford and Treliske had the worst handover delays in the whole country, with 80% of ambulances being forced to wait outside hospital for 30 minutes or more.
